We have now been on the island of Cyprus for twu weeks, whose past of crises is drawn onto its map: The UN controlled Green Line separates the island into a Turkish northern part and a Greek southern part. In this episode, we tell how this happened and report what of this conflict is still visible today. The blend of orthodox, catholic and muslim influence in Cyprus is much more impressive than in any other country on our tour so far. Simultaneously, Cyprus is an island of crises for us as well: Illness, mechanical problems and organizing our onward flight keep us busy.
