Even more than the rest of Albania its capital Tirana is a city on the move, which has really changed very noticeably since Tizian’s last visit. Only the restaurant we visit is unfortunately disappointing, as the stuffed peppers are not available and so we want to try our luck elsewhere and leave the city in the direction of Lake Ohrid. And as typical for Albania this once again means steep climbs, remote, sparsely populated river valleys and reservoirs. We also tell the sad beginning of a certainly interesting life story of an Albanian dog (how the story exactly continues we must unfortunately leave open), report on the churches and tourism at Lake Ohrid and discuss in detail with special guest David why one has argued so controversially about images in the Byzantine Empire.
