In Narva at the Russian border we begin our journey through the Baltics. We’ve already been here on our bikes back in 2019, and yet we’re far from bored: the endless forests, the silence broken only by birdsong, the endless deserted beaches along the beautiful coastlines, and campsites by small forest lakes that could be used to even define the word “idyllic”. We’re also rediscovering the perks of Europe thanks to the widespread availability of bike paths and Lidl in-store bakeries. Still, not everything goes smoothly, as our struggle to find a new stove hose shows.
